There comes a moment deep inside
When surviving is no longer enough,
When the heart grows tired of merely existing
And begins reaching for sunlight again.
I want to wake up without heaviness,
To breathe without carrying yesterday
Like chains around my soul.
I want laughter that feels real,
Smiles that are not borrowed,
And peace that stays after the night grows quiet.
I want to stand beneath open skies
And remember that life was meant to be lived,
Not feared.
To chase mornings with hope in my chest,
To love without always expecting loss,
To believe joy can still find me.
I want long drives with music playing,
Conversations that heal instead of hurt,
Sunsets that remind me
There is still beauty left in this world.
I want to feel alive again —
Not perfect, not untouched by pain,
But alive.
Because somewhere beneath the scars,
Beyond every disappointment and heartbreak,
There is still a soul inside me
Wanting to dance in the rain,
Wanting to dream again,
Wanting to live fully before time slips away.
And maybe happiness is not a destination.
Maybe it is choosing, day after day,
To keep opening the curtains,
Keep believing in tomorrow,
Keep finding reasons to stay soft
In a world that tried to harden me.
So I will keep going.
I will keep searching for moments
That make my heart feel lighter.
I will keep choosing life,
Choosing hope,
Choosing to live it to the fullest
While I still can.
